Message from Principal-in-charge…..

Message from Headmistress…… You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. Welcome to our first edition of Newsletter for the academic session 2022-23, which is an expression of ideas, talents, memories, thoughts and creativity of our promising students. ‘Nurturance of love for learning and pride in the sself ‘ are the best gifts a school can give to children and that is what life in Kendriya Vidyalaya Rourkela relentlessly worked for. Each child is unique with multiple sparks, at times latent. KV Rourkela aims to provide conducive environment to kindle the sparks. The focus is to create a synergy between the attributes of the heart, head and the hand, thus preparing the students towards becoming, thinking, caring, confident, creative and sensitive individuals. KV Rourkela family feels proud to bring out this newsletter which is a reflection of the sincere hard work put up by highly enthusiastic and talented students and dynamic and professional staff members. I wish you all good luck in your future endeavours.

Meet our Team

Strength of KV Rourkela

First days are the best days because they are the beginning. Vidya Pravesh : three month play based school preparation for Grade I students leading to joyful learning and acquiring knowledge and new skills…….. Learning never ends especially when it’s learning with fun.

Every child is gifted. They just unwrap their packages at different times. Glimpse of activities in KV Rourkela where every child gets a turn just not to be moulded rather to be unfolded. A day full of joy: Morning assembly, meditation, yoga, music- song & dance, chit-chat, games, art & craft activities, enjoying nutritious food, experiential learning, etc.

To know ourselves, we have to first think enough about effective methods of learning before thinking too much about effective teaching. Collaboration allows us to know more than we are capable of knowing ourselves. A glance of the guidance provided at regular intervals by the Headmistress Smt P Neeraja.

Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere. Between the classes, in the playground, with friends and all extracurriculars- there’s a lot going on in school.

May the Indian Tricolour always fly high !

Children learn as the play, most importantly in play children learn how to learn. ~ O.
