Dear colleagues Every year several courses are organized in Spain on knee disorders. However, the second edition of the course presented in this Programme has been designed with the main goal of steering clear of pure description and focussing on the scientific evidence that informs our daily diagnostic and therapeutic attitudes. Our field is one characterised by continuous development and at times different solutions are proposed to address the same problem. In this new course, attendants will be able to interact with international experts of renown, who will share their experience at a series of debate panels,where individual approaches to certain issues can be justified and debated before they are finally incorporated into daily practice. We have worked hard to make the design of the course, as well as the topics to be covered, relevant to the knee surgeon's current concerns. We would be extremely grateful if you would contribute questions or clinical cases to be presented at the different debate panels (they can be sent the website of our technical secretariat). We hope you can find time in your busy schedule to attend the course. We send you our kindest regards… and look forward to seeing you in Barcelona!

Apreciados Colegas: En el panorama científico nacional existen diversos cursos dedicados a la patología de rodilla, y en este programa os presentamos la segunda edicion de un curso que quiere huir de la pura descripción e incidir en las evidencias científicas que fundamentan nuestras actitudes diagnósticas y terapéuticas diarias. Continuamente se producen nuevos avances, algunos de los cuales aportan diferentes soluciones para los mismos problemas. Queremos contar con vosotros y con los expertos internacionales que más experiencia tienen para crear paneles de debate en los que se justifiquen y discutan las diferentes opciones existentes para incorporarlas a la práctica diaria. Esperamos que los temas que se abordan en el curso y el diseño del mismo os resulten atractivos y pedimos vuestra colaboración aportando preguntas o casos clínicos que serán presentados a los diferentes paneles de debate y que podéis enviar a través de la página Web de nuestra secretaría técnica.
