THE VÉLO VERT FESTIVAL The 14th edition of the Vélo Vert Festival continues its ascent on the paths of the village resorts of Samoëns and Morillon (Haute-Savoie). A superb protected alpine territory, which saw the birth and growth of mountain bike, and has always hosted major legendary events in the history of mountain biking such as the Trans Grand Massif, the VTTicime and the Enduro World Series... A story that now unites itself to the Vélo Vert Festival. A playground suitable for all types of practice: enduro, cross-country, electric, sporty or family MTB. To discover for lovers of the Vélo Vert Festival, in a formula well known to festival-goers consisting of a test fair, rides, competitions, entertainment and conviviality, enough to satisfy all mountain biking desires.

EXPO & TESTS + world’s largest test center! The Vélo Vert Festival has built a unique position in the world over the course of a decade. Become the largest mountain bike test fair in the world while maintaining its DNA which is to offer the general public the Great Mountain Bike Festival.

AN EVENT FOR THE CURIOUS For the past 10 years, the Vélo Vert Festival has established itself as THE leading test fair for mountain biking. This year, 10 test tracks will be proposed to test the 2023 novelties exclusively !
From the MTB EA to the Gravel, including the X-Country and Enduro, all festival-goers will surely find the playground and equipment at their convenience, no matter their level or affinity of practice. People with disabilities will also have the pleasure of testing FTT and CIMGO on a suitable course.
A SPORTING EVENT ENDURO
Starting from the sumptuous Col de Joux Plane, the Enduro Lapierre is a summit event, on a format of 5 specials including 3 new segments on the southern slope of the communes of Verchaix & Samoëns. Sunshine in perspective... Support event for the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Enduro MTB Cup !

AN EVENT FOR ALL COOL FAMILY MOUNTAIN BIKING ! For a first MTB experience or a fun time with family and friends, the Roue Cool is THE ride to check off your 2023 calendar. Departing from Lac Bleu de Morillon, you will let yourself be carried along the Giffre river on fun trails accessible to all, the Vélo Vert Festival will surprise you along the water with some activities !
THE RIDE FOR ALL : In an exceptional natural setting, the Vélo Vert Festival launches the Handi Ride, an amazing experience of 30km on the summits of the Grand Massif open to 30 pairs composed of a Wheelchair or Electric Handbike and a valid guide in electric mountain bike. Supervised by the association Handi-Glisse de Samoëns, this hike promises intense sensations, gourmet moments and a festive finale in the heart of the Vélo Vert Festival!
MAKE WAY FOR THE YOUNGEST! Kids Chrono : the mini riders will play the stopwatch on segments varying descents, physical parts and maneuverability. Kids Ludique : on an 8 km course, kids festival-goers must be accompanied by an adult to discover the 3 fun workshops imagined on the route. Dexterity, adrenaline and delicacies on the program...
A FESTIVE EVENT It’s 3 days at the rhythm of cultural and musical events on the Salon and Place du Gros Tilleul in Samoëns. The festival will be punctuated by MCF trial shows, initiations to the Big Air Bag, Pumptrack, Bunny Hop contest and demonstrations of extreme sports by Aurélien Fontenoy by Abus. Animations that announce an aerial festival and completely craaaaaaaaazyyyyy !
NOCTAMBULE
Unusual and captivating, the Noctambule will take you to ride under the stars on 2 riding formats, one of 11.5km accessible to all on the banks of the Giffre river and the second of 19.5km for fans of nocturnal fun and thrilling sensations. This year, the dress code is Fluo 90’s, so get out your best tights or try the mullet cut to win the competition for the best disguise!
The concerts & DJ Set by Ninkasi Music Lab will let the finishers enjoy their house hops and will set the mood for the evenings of this new season in Samoëns. Their selection: JOUBe / CLARK’S BOWLING CLUB / DJ ANDRIA There will also be the CHIPS fanfare, Mickaël & his accordion in the streets of Samoëns as well as the DJ Set Mountain Mix and REPTYLL on the Place du Gros Tilleul.
A COMITTED EVENT ECO SUPPLIES & GOODIES This year for all registration to the event, festival-goers will find in their «Welcome Pack» a reusable cup with the colors of this 14th edition. A sugar cane bicycle bottle will also be on sale at the official Vélo Vert Festival shop. Exhibitors’ meals and supplies will be focus on local and regional products. In this way, the event contributes to the development of short and local sectors from an environmental, economic and social perspective.
FIFTY FIFTY This association develops cycling reconstruction programms for women victims of violence. It acts to see equity at the centre of debates, it allows women, every day a little more, to find their rightful place in the world. By becoming a partner, the Vélo Vert Festival invites festival-goers to make a donation to the association.
RECYCLING Limiting the production of plastic is one of the main objectives of the Vélo Vert Festival. To do this, with the technical support of the Communauté des Communes des Montagnes du Giffre, the SIVOM and the AREMACS association, the organization is carrying out concrete and measurable actions in order to significantly reduce, manage and enhance (less than 20%) the use of plastic at the event.
