Monthly Newsletter January 2023 Oce Associate of the Month Theodore Mercer NOVEMBER SHINING ARMOR Area Manager Spotlight NICK MELBOURNE WEST TEXAS DISTRICT - NORTH REGION Nick Melbourne has been with PFG West Texas for 6 months now. Originally from Southeast Pennsylvania, and now part of West Texas. He has been a Chef for 20 years, trained professionally, 3-year European-style Apprenticeship at 5-Star, 5-Diamond Broadmoor Hotel and Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado as well achieving. Nick obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Government from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico. As well as achieving American Culinary Federation Barand H. Galand Knowledge Bowl Team Captain (Broadmoor Hotel and Resort), Two Time Two Gold Medal Champion/Team Captain . He recently married to now Carla Melbourne on December 12th, 2022 (she’s a professionally trained massage therapist and esthetician) Prior to coming on with PFG, Nick was a Sales Consultant with Sysco for 1.5 years. I am very excited for nick as he recently open Coleman County Jail. An account that several have gone after in the past with no luck with a few more high profile accounts in his pipeline to come on board in the very near future. Luis is a graduate of Texas Tech school of Restaurant Hospitality Management. Before joining the Temple team he had been a GM in the Bill Miller BBQ system for over 12 years. Luis completed the Area Manager training class in late August. In just four short months, Luis has opened seven new accounts and averaging over 250 cases per week. As a kid, he dreamed he would play in the NBA. His biggest motivation is his family’s future. Jerell would like to open his own warehouse – which would be full of shoes. His main hobby outside of work is selling shoes and attending sneaker events. Those of you that are shoe fanatics you should see his collection. Jerell’s favorite workplace memory are the competitive races between selectors in the cooler. There is no doubt we know who had the ‘W’ at the end. A five time All Star Winner: 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2020.
