Armed forces - June 16th, 2023 Will go a bit like this It will stretch from Pier Gardens to Cleethorpes Light Railway. The Boating Lake will also host around 16 Lancers on horseback. Visitors will be able to get a great view from the Big Wheel that will be next to the Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. There will be a shuttle service on a Vintage Bus between Cleethorpes town centre and The Boating Lake to enable a park and ride service. There are planned to be large fireworks displays on the Friday and Saturday evenings, along with live music from a stage next to the Remembrance Gate, in Alexandra Road. A bandstand will also be erected at The Boating Lake. Almost 200,000 people attended last year for the event and organisers are hoping for more of the same this time round

It will start on Friday evening with Carnival parade moving off from Grant Street car park. As in previous years, the event will feature the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the spectacular Typhoon display, which will also return on the Sunday for a second display. I for one cannot wait……….
