Shipping Agency Information Dear Visitor: By law, all vessels without Mexican flag must report to Port Authorities to enter and leave Mexico. Our shipping agency will assist you while in Mexico, upon your request, providing you with the different official forms that you are required by the port and customs authorities, to enter and leave the country. Our shipping agency can also assist you with all the information you may need for other services for the vessel and crew members such as reservations in hotels, car rental, etc. These services have additional charges. Enter and leaving procedure at the offices of International Sanitation, Immigration, Customs, Agriculture Sanitation, and Harbour Master Office, sport fishing permits for guests, bank and government payments for permits and temporary importation permits for vessel for ten years must be done. All vessels require these authorizations to avoid fines or confiscation of the vessel, by the Mexican authorities and customs national office. These requirements apply for all non Mexican vessels, the procedure must begin upon arrival to the first Mexican port, (not from your home country) and require special documentation. Please ask for requirements and forms to have on board before departure from your country. The Shipping Agency charges fees to handle and process the paperwork related to the vessel and the sport fishing activities, some of these procedures involve trips to official offices in Cancun city. PROCEDURE The Port Authorities need to authorize the vessel and its crew members to enter Mexico. At your arrival, an inspection will be performed by the Port Authorities, whom will require to check the eight (8) following documents in original form. Please send copies of these eight (8) documents to the Marina Office via fax 30 days prior to your arrival date, we will begin filling out the documentation and will speed the process at your arrival. Certificate of Documentation of the Vessel. 7 copies General information of the vessel form. 3 copies Crew list for arrival, notarized in the USA. 7 copies or Zarpe from any other Country no USA Carta Mandato, ( Letter of Power of law assist me ) notarized in the USA. 3 copies Temporary Importation issued by Mexican customs for the Vessel. (Do it as soon as you arrive in Puerto Juarez customs office ). 4 copies Copy of the insurance of the vessel, or letter informing that you do not have insurance. 3 copies Public Declaration of no weapons. 3 copies Valid Passport of all members of the crew. 7 copies per crew member Crew list for the Mexican Customs Office. 2

List of Documents Required by Law to depart Mexico. You need five (4) copies of departure crew list for: 1.- One Copy for the Harbor Master Office. 2.- One Copy for the Immigration Office authorized by Harbor Master Office. Also leave your tourist visas and show the bank payment of the crew’s visas fees. Visas will be kept in the immigration office upon departure. 3.- One copy of departure crew list for the Marina Office. 4.- One copy of departure crew list for the vessel as well the “Ink one”. 5.- Also letter to the Harbor Master office from the Marina saying that you have paid your fuel and Marina bills (The agency will give you this form). 6.- Vessels that will have new crew members to go back must give us copy of their plane ticket to show the inmigration officer that their visa payment was included in it. The electronic plane ticket must show that the “tourist card” or “tax fee” was included in the payment of the ticket. if they do not give us a copy of the plane ticket that assures the payment. another $30.-us dlls for the VISA will have to be paid upon departure.

Requirements all documents must be presented in original (ink) and 2 copies of following documents in both cases: a) When vessel is registered and owned by a person, the following documents are required: 1. Title or certificate of documentation. 2. Passport of importator (owner, captain or authorized crew member). 3. Valid inmigration form. (FMT,FMM,FM3,FM2). 4. Arrival crew list with port authorities official seals. 5.- Serial number of the engine(s). 6. Fee $53.00 usd in cash, credit card or debit card. 7. Hull´s VIN (Vehicle indentification number – One Photography). b) When vessel is registered and owned by a corporation the following documents are required: 1. Title certificate of documentation. 2. Passport of importator (owner, captain, legal representative of company or crew member) with notarized documentation or power of attorney, signed by two witnesses, were is stated that the person is authorized to request the temporary importation of the vessel. Copies of the passports of the witnesses must be included in the power of attorney. 2a. Notarized (4) copies that shows the taxpayer identification number of the corporation that owns the vessel (this document is only required when the temporary importation must be done under the corporation name).4 3. Passport of importator and owner. 4. Valid inmigration form. (FMT,FMM,FM3,FM2). 5. Arrival crew list with port official seals 6. Serial number of the engine(s). 7. Fee $53.00 usd in cash, credit card or debit card. 8. Hull´s VIN (Vehicle indentification number – One Photography). 9. Certificate of registration 10. A sheet with a list of inventory items on the vessel will be given to you to fill up when temporary permit is issued at customs office in Puerto Juarez. To cancel the temporary importation of a vessel. Documents required: 1. Original temporary importation and the sticker. 2. Inventory list of vessel. 3. Certificate of the parture and Crew departure list (known as zarpe). 4. Passport of person that imported the vessel. 2. Sport Fishing Permits for anglers . the fee is for one year $ 60.00 U.S. DLLS. Aprox and subject to change without notice Requirements: a) Provide all names of anglers to our marina office b) Marina staff will do payment of fishing tax to local bank or you can do it directly. Sport fishing permits allow you to fish in all the coast of Mexican republic, for one year. 3. Forbidden products to import to Mexico, please do not bring them aboard your vessel, products prohibited are: Fresh and frozen chicken, meat vegetables, eggs without the packaged seal of USA, sanitation ministry. None of products with wheat. 4. Pets, if the vessel brings a pet on board, vaccination carnet will be needed.
