from the chairman Dear friends and supporters: Thank you for standing with Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) and making children’s health as important of a priority as your own. We realize that you work hard, and I find it incredible that you would share your success with children living in desperate conditions. HFF believes in order to build strong lives, we need to come together as a worldwide community. Whether it’s through volunteering at your local Casa Herbalife program or making a contribution to the Foundation — our support is stronger when we do it together. The support of the Herbalife community allows HFF to help children live healthy, balanced lives with daily nutritional support. We need to work together in order to continue our commitment to the children. Together, we are strong enough to make a difference. Sincerely,
Michael O. Johnson chairman 4

The involvement of HFF supporters stems so much wider than just financial donations. For years, Independent Herbalife Members, employees and friends have visited their local Casa Herbalife program to spend time with the children. These positive interactions with HFF volunteers enforce hope and confidence in children, some of whom have come from abusive or neglectful backgrounds. Casa Herbalife programs support the overall wellness of children through financial support to existing charitable organizations around the world.

After joining Barton’s Boosters in the 9th grade, he worked with a nutritionist on a diet and exercise plan. After committing to his new, healthy lifestyle Justin eventually became the star quarterback of his football team and recipient of a four-year scholarship to the University of Michigan where he will be majoring in Health and Nutritional Studies.

Fundacion Arco Iris — Casa Betania
After separating from her husband, Ana struggled to support her three children and oftentimes they would go hungry. She was told about Fundacion Arco Iris — Casa Betania and enrolled her children so they could have consistent, healthy meals. Because the program provided care and resources to her children during the day, Ana is now able to attend the University of San Andres where she studies Social Work.

“When children arrive at the Foundation they are often in very poor condition, with high levels of malnutrition and are introverted. With the support of Herbalife Family Foundation, and of course the people who help us every day at the Foundation, we can improve the quality of life of children who receive a balanced diet, psychological and academic support. HFF’s support has been essential, in the way we can have the necessary resources to allow us to improve the quality of life of children.” – PSYCHOLOGIST
