Time Management Contrary to popular belief, leading time managers are born with organizers, calendars and alarm clocks in their hands. We all agree that there are certain personality traits that tend to be very orderly when the time comes but in general, time management is a skill that anyone can learn. Time management is not about filling up every hour of your day with work
A really useful tool for managing time-wasting activities - especially if it is not a classroom but a self-driving task such as completing homework - is to set a timer of 45 minutes to 1 hour and focus on doing the assignment only then. During this 45-60 minute period, you will either turn off the social media platform, your cell phone, or minimize the interruptions around you as much as possible. This is a time for deep work. When your timer goes, you are free to get up, stretch, walk or take a break in front of you. Do this for 2-3 hours time blocks every day and you will be amazed at how far you will end the semester!
