COMUNICADO 191/14 Plan Lector y otros libros obligatorios 2015 – 7º a 11º Monterrico, 17 de diciembre de 2014

Estimados padres de familia: Adjunto encontrarán el plan lector de las áreas de Inglés y de Comunicación para el año escolar 2015 (por favor, tengan cuidado de ver la lista del siguiente grado escolar). Queremos recordarles que nuestros alumnos deben leer, como mínimo, cinco libros en español y cuatro en inglés durante el año, objetivo que es de esencial importancia en ambas áreas. De no tener los libros del plan en casa, pueden adquirirlos donde gusten. Cuando se indica una antología, se menciona la casa editorial porque el contenido varía entre antología y antología; en todos los demás casos la mención de editoriales es meramente referencial. Asimismo, dado que varios de los libros en Inglés son importados, el colegio desea facilitar el proceso de adquisición de los mismos, a los padres interesados, recibiendo sus órdenes de compra. Recomendamos asegurarse de que su hijo(a) cuente con el material necesario para participar de las actividades programadas en el 2015. Cabe indicar que, si un alumno no trajera a clase los libros requeridos, el colegio eventualmente podrá entregárselos y cargar el costo a través del sistema del banco. En este último caso, y ya que no se hizo el pedido a tiempo, no garantizamos una entrega oportuna. Además de los libros señalados en los planes de Inglés y Comunicación, pedimos tomar nota de que nuestros alumnos requieren contar con algunos diccionarios. Dear Parents, Enclosed is the 2015 Reading Plan for the English and the Spanish Language Arts Areas. We would like to remind you that the Reading Plan is a critical part of the English and Spanish programs. Our students are expected to read at least 5 books in Spanish and 4 books in English throughout the year. In the event that you do not have the required reading books at home, you can acquire them form the bookstore of your choice. When it is an anthology, we mention the publisher because the content varies among anthologies; in all other cases the publishers are merely referential. However, since most of the required books are imported, the school would like to help the parents in the process of acquiring them by receiving your purchase order. We would like to remind you that if your son/daughter fails to bring the required books to class, the school would eventually provide them and will charge you the corresponding amount automatically through the bank system. In such case, and because the order was not placed when advised, we cannot guarantee your son/daughter will have them on time. En el área de Comunicación se lee un libro obligatorio por bimestre, en el orden señalado. Todas las secciones de un grado leen el mismo libro a la vez. El quinto libro, que puede ser presentado en cualquier momento a partir del inicio de clases, implica una elección personal dentro de los parámetros que fija el área y que son dados a conocer, directamente a los alumnos, durante la primera semana de clases.
