For Peter’s Pence Collection —English and Spanish Week of June 18/19 Next week, our diocese will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to carry out his charitable works around the world. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and disasters. Join our Holy Father as a witness of charity to those who are suffering. Week of June 25/26 In the second collection today, we are supporting Pope Francis in his charitable works. The Peter’s Pence Collection is taken up worldwide to support our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and natural disasters. In this Jubilee Year of Mercy, the collection is an opportunity to join with Pope Francis and be a witness of charity to our suffering brothers and sisters. Please be generous in today’s collection. Week of July2/ 3 and July 9/10 Thank you for your generous support of our Holy Father’s charitable works through the Peter’s Pence Collection. Our contributions will be combined with those from our brothers and sisters around the world to help Pope Francis provide essential relief to people in need. Para la semana de Junio 18/19 La próxima semana la diócesis realizará la Colecta Peter’s Pence, la cual le proporciona al papa Francisco los fondos que necesita para llevar a cabo sus obras de caridad alrededor del mundo. Lo recaudado beneficia a nuestros hermanos y hermanas que viven al margen de la sociedad, incluyendo a las víctimas de guerra, opresión y desastres. Únanse a nuestro Santo Padre como un testigo de la caridad para aquellos que sufren. Para la semana de Junio /2526 En la segunda colecta de hoy, apoyamos al papa Francisco en sus obras de caridad. Weeks of June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 3 – Family Day Mass and Picnic for Persons with Disabilities Persons with Disabilities of all ages and types and their families are invited to a Family Day Mass and Picnic, Saturday, July 16th from 11:00 am. - 2:00pm at Our Lady of the Lake Parish, 24832 US-12, East, Edwardsburg. Ministry to the Migrant Farmworkers The Diocese of Kalamazoo will host their beginning of the season meeting on Thursday, June 9 from 5:30 – 8:00p.m. at the Lawrence Education Center of Borgess Hospital, 1521 Gull Road, Kalamazoo, MI. This meeting is for all the volunteers that will be helping with the ministry to the migrant farmworkers and for those who wish to volunteer for the first time. On that day we will provide some resource material, answer any questions that you may have regarding Migrant Ministry and it is also an opportunity to meet other volunteers. The new Support Group in Spanish will begin on April 5, 2016. It is necessary to make an appointment as soon as possible, before the program begins, with the counselor Lissette.

A report of sexual misconduct can be initiated at the Diocese of Kalamazoo’s Sexual Misconduct Question and Reporting Line: (877) 802-0115. A caller will be requested to provide his or her name and telephone number. All calls regarding sexual misconduct will be returned, usually within one hour. This toll-free telephone number has been established as a part of the Diocese’s effort to protect children, young people and other vulnerable people in our schools, parishes and ministries. This line is for reporting suspected sexual misconduct or child abuse within Diocesan institutions and ministries only. If you have some other concern about Diocesan schools, parishes or ministries, please contact the appropriate Diocesan school, parish or office directly.
