Christmas is a holiday to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who according to the Christian religion is the son of God. The name is joining of Christ and mass which means the holy mass supper, celebration or festival of Christ. Every Year we celebrate Christmas on 25th December. 24th December is also known as Christmas Eve.

People celebrate Christmas Day in many ways. It is often combined with customs from previous Christmas winter celebrations. Many people decorate their homes, visit family or friends and exchange gifts. Some groups arrange meals, shelter or chartable projects for people without a home or with very little money. People also decorate Christmas tree and make a Snow man in their Back yard.

Santa Claus did not always dress up in red clothes. Rudolph the Red noses Reindeers has helpers too. The Christmas wreath is a symbol of love and eternal life.
