W

anda Jean Dorn-Williams was born to the late Arcenia Marie and Robert Dorn, Jr. on September 19, 1955, at the Naval Station in Corona, California. Wanda was called home to be with the Lord on Christmas morning, December 25, 2022, at the age of 67. Wanda attended John F. Kennedy High School in San Antonio, Texas graduating in 1973. While at Kennedy, Wanda belonged to various clubs and was a member of Spacettes Dance Team. Wanda furthered her education at Incarnate Word University in San Antonio and Okaloosa Walton College where she received her Associates Degree in Early Children Education in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Wanda was a highly respected and successful business owner in Fort Walton Beach, earning various awards/accolades, including Provider of the Year.

While in San Antonio Wanda was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. John J. Rector, Sr. In Fort Walton Beach Wanda was a member of Beulah First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. S. L. Thigpen until her death. Wanda was united in holy matrimony to Cedrick Williams on December 17, 1988. To this union two sons were born, Jordan Kyle and Jarred Hunter. Wanda was a very giving and loving person who loved her family deeply. She was loved by all who were blessed to know her. She will be forever missed. With her homegoing she leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 34 years Cedrick, her sons Jordan Kyle (Shanee) Converse, Texas, and Jarred Hunter (Tricia), Fort Bliss, TX. Grandchildren Julius, Amari, Amelia and a grandchild due in July 2023. Sisters Arlene Watters (Curley) San Antonio, Tx., Darlene Bush (Frank) Colton, Ca., Cynthia Gardner, Converse Tx. Aunt Willie Jean Steele, Chicago, Illinois. She also leaves behind a niece, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
