A lot can happen in a week. I tempted fate in last week's newsletter as we now have a number of children and staff affected by Covid. However, we are fortunate to have a good supply of relieving teachers and classroom programmes are still operating smoothly. Unfortunately we have had to postpone the Year 6 camp but this will take place at a later date. Thank you for keeping siblings home when there is someone in the family presenting with Covid symptoms. As of next week we will be provided with Rapid Antigen tests so if your child does have symptoms at school we will contact you and provide you with a RAT kit to take home. With just over 4 weeks of the term left hopefully we are approaching the ‘finish line’ of the Omicron outbreak. As always your support in keeping everyone well is greatly appreciated. Young Leader – Emma Davis Kia ora, my name is Emma and I am one of the eight young leaders for 2022. I am passionate about Jump Jam, horse riding, netball and baking. My favourite subjects are art and maths. As a young leader I hope to see you playing nicely and taking part in school activities. I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you and if you need help feel free to come and approach me. You can find me in Room 4.

FOOTBALL SOUTH – ‘KICKIN IT’ FESTIVAL Football South presents ‘Kickin it’. A Football festival filled with fun games and skills for Women and Girls of all ages. Whether you want to try playing football for the first time or want to challenge some of your mates ‘Kickin it’ is the place to do it. Register to participate in 6 fun filled stations which include beat the goal keeper, target practice and small sided games. Players from last year’s winning Southern United Football team will also be there to teach you their skills! Challenge your mum, dad, brother, sister or friend to see who is the ultimate winner.
