September Prayer Intentions

Every month the Pope announces his monthly prayer intentions, and requests that we include the intentions in our personal prayers. General Intention That the mentally disabled may receive the love and help they need for a dignified life. Missionary Intention That Christians, inspired by the Word of God, may serve the poor and suffering.

Short Sermons to Live By We, the women and men of the Church, we are in the middle of a love story: each of us is a link in this chain of love. And if we do not understand this, we have understood nothing of what the Church is....     Pope Francis

St. Vincent de Paul Collection This Weekend The monthly St. Vincent de Paul collection will be held after Masses this weekend. Every dollar you donate goes to the members of our local community to help pay for basic necessities such as rent, food and utilities. Every dollar counts! As you reflect on your blessings, please be generous.

The offertory information was unavailable at the time of printing due to the Labor Day holiday. For your convenience, electronic giving is available at www.cathedralofchristtheking.org.
