Page 2 Estimadas familias de San Bartolomé: Como la directora nueva de la escuela San Bartolomé, ha sido un sincero placer y un honor de ser parte de esta maravillosa escuela. San Bartolomé cuenta con una rica historia de excelencia académica y cultural que es claramente un resultado de la fuerte asociación entre el personal de la escuela y los padres que trabajan juntos para proporcionar un modelo con base de fe católica para la educación de nuestros estudiantes. De hecho, durante mis primeras dos semanas aquí, he encontrado esta estrecha relación de trabajo y enfoque de lo que es mejor para nuestros estudiantes aquí en la escuela de San Bartolomé. Page 3 Dear St. Bartholomew Families: As the new Principal of St. Bartholomew School, it has been my sincere pleasure and honor to become a member of this wonderful school community. St. Bartholomew School enjoys a rich history of academic and cultural excellence that is clearly a result of the strong partnership between the school staff and parents who work together to provide a Catholic faith based model of education for our students. During my first two weeks here, I have indeed found this close working relationship and focus on what is best for children to exist here at St. Bartholomew School. I am truly honored to be appointed to this position and am looking forward to working with the dedicated staff to provide the best possible educational program for our students. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty-five years with a specific concentration in curriculum development, and differentiated instruction to meet the learning needs of each student individually. Most of my educational career has been in the public school system. I held the positions of teacher, staff trainer of curriculum design and instruction, and principal. My most recent administrative experience has been serving as the Principal of St. Edmund School in Oak Park, IL. Being able to serve as the educational leader of a Catholic school has truly been what I was missing in my educational career. It is where I found that connection between Catholic faith-life and educational excellence. Baptism: During pregnancy or after birth, parents are expected to attend a Baptismal Preparation meeting held on the first Sunday of the month at 12:30PM. PREPARACION SACRAMENTAL
