Ash Wednesday Mass Schedule On Ash Wednesday, our Mass schedule will be 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM (School Mass), 12:00 PM, 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM (Spanish).

Parent Confirmation Information Meeting Parents of 7th-grade students, and some 8th-grade, who will be preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this fall are invited to a parents information meeting on Monday, March 10 at 7:00 PM in the church. During this meeting the Confirmation program will be explained as to what is being taught and the expectation of the Archdiocese to receive the sacrament. Letters have been sent to the parents regarding this meeting. If you did not receive a letter and think you should have, or have any questions or concerns, please call the Religious Education Office 253-2193, ext. 4 or email Mary Jo Thomas-Day at [email protected].

Respect Life Events 5th Annual Archdiocesan Sanctity of Life Dinner Thursday, March 6 at Primo Banquet Hall and Conference Center, 2615 National Avenue, Indianapolis. St Monica has two tables with seats available. Please contact Steve Martin at [email protected] if you would like to join our tables! 40 Days for Life - Spring Campaign - Let's Save Babies! Ash Wednesday, March 5, is the first day of the 40 Days Spring Campaign. 40 Days for Life is the most successful pro-life witness in America today. Over 600,000 Americans have volunteered over the years and, more importantly, hundreds of babies have been saved. St. Monica is a participating church and we feel a strong responsibility to provide volunteers because the Planned Parenthood clinic—which provides abortions—located at the corner of 86th Street and Georgetown Road is within our parish boundaries. Would you please consider being a volunteer? We ask that you pray one hour a week each Wednesday (our assigned day) in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic at for 40 days. Sadly, we never get enough volunteers because not everybody is free during a business day, so if you are available, please consider volunteering. Respect Life Ministry members will be in the Narthex in the weeks before the campaign or you can call Terry O'Connor at 299-2811 or Steve Martin at 875-9817 to ask questions or volunteer.

Spring Health Fair The popular Kids I.D. program will again be featured at the St. Monica Spring Health Fair, along with health screenings and information about health services and educational offerings. The event will be held in the parish gym on Sunday, March 23 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. For further information on how to participate or to volunteer, contact Ann Hill at email address [email protected].
