Coming to Mass every Sunday, Longing for more... Come join us for an evening (or three) of reflection on God’s love and to understand God’s plan for us. The three-day Revive mission will be held on January 23, 24th and 25th (Mon. Tues. Wed. ) at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 230 East 90th St.. Please visit www.faitheveryday.com for more information and to register. This Parish mission is a collaborative endeavor on the part of our parish cluster (Making All Things New) and we look forward to joining in these evenings of prayer with our neighboring churches. Tues. Jan 24th is the Feast of St Francis de Sales and the plan is for our musicians to add their gift of prayer through music
Feast Day Pot Luck Jan 28 after the 5pm Mass we will once again celebrate our parish feast day with a wonderful POT LUCK FESTIVAL!! This promises to be a fantastic evening of food and community-tickets are going fast….they are on sale at Masses and in the office for $1.00. Each family coming is asked to bring a dish to share. We would like to suggest that with your dish you bring a list of the ingredients so we can be attentive to food allergies that people may be concerned with. If you don’t like to cook but want to contribute…we will certainly need beverages….so feel free to contribute that way!! We look forward to sharing a super night with you. Small Christian Communities This coming Lent you will be invited to consider joining a ‘small Christian community’ within our parish –a group that will pray and reflect together on how the Gospel calls us to live our Catholic lives more authentically. There will be several options for groups at different times during the week. We hope that you will find one that fits your schedule and sign up. In this way we will all grow more deeply in our faith on our journey to Easter.
LGBTQ Our monthly meeting will be held on Wed evening Jan 25 at 7pm in the parish house. Come join us for faith, fellowship, food and fun.
