Ash Wednesday Mass Schedule/ Horarios de Misa en Miércoles de Ceniza: 7:00 am Spanish/Español 9:00 am English/Ingles 3:00 pm Bilingual/Bilingüe (Service only/Solo Servicio) 5:30 pm English/Ingles 7:00 pm Spanish/Español 9:00 pm Spanish/Español Lenten Rules and Regulations Abstinence: Catholics over 14 years of age are bound to the obligations of abstinence. Abstinence is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent. On days of abstinence, meat may not be eaten at all. Fast: Catholics over 18 and up to the beginning of their sixtieth year are bound to the obligation of fasting. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are the days of fasting. On these days only one full meal is allowed. Two other meatless meals, sufficient to maintain strength, may be taken according to each one’s needs, but together they should not equal another full meal. Eating between meals is not permitted, but liquids, including milk and fruit juices are allowed. Stations of the Cross will take place every Friday after the 7:00 pm Mass in Spanish beginning on the First Friday of Lent, February 12th, through Friday, March 18th.

La abstinencia comenzará en la celebración de Miércoles de Ceniza y los viernes de Cuaresma. En los días de abstinencia, la carne no se puede comer en absoluto. En estos días sólo una comida completa está permitido.
