Thank you to the school for the a/c donation of $2,226.50 that was fundraised with the hot dogs and hamburgers last weekend. Special thanks to the Jalapeño Restaurant and Sophia Holton and all the parents involved in this activity. This weekend we will have Tacos al Pastor. Please support our a/c fundraising efforts. To be cool, we have to do cool things!

50th Wedding Anniversary Jubilee Mass Celebration

Bodas de Oro Matrimoniales (Aniversario 50) Celebración de la Misa de Jubileo

The 2014 Wedding Anniversary Jubilee Mass honoring couples celebrating their Golden (50th) Anniversary of marriage in the Catholic Church will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the CoCathedral of the Sacred Heart at 3:00 PM. Whether or not a couple attends the ceremony, they are eligible to receive a special recognition. Couples wishing to participate are asked to register online by visiting http://archgh.event.com/50weddinganniversary. Please fill out all the information requested and make sure that the name of each couple is typed exactly as they wish them to appear on their recognition. Deadline for registration is September 29 at midnight. Registration will not be processed if the information about the Catholic Wedding cannot be verified and/or if the fee of $25 dollars per couple is not received before September 29. Each couple will be able to bring a maximum of 6 family members or friends to the Mass.

Confirmation Confirmation II Orientation and Mass Orientation for Confirmation II candidates and parents will be held on Sunday, September 28, at 10:30 AM in the Parish Hall. The candidates and parents will attend the 12:00 PM Mass and sit together in reserved pews. This is required for both parents and candidates. If the parents are not able to attend, an adult representative may substitute in their absence. Please do not bring small children. Summer Clothes Recycling With Back-to-School and fall upon us, let Confirmation help clear up some closet space or a storage area. We are seeking donations of gently used clothes for men, women, and children during the month of September. All seasons are accepted. Please drop off the donations in the green clothes recycling bin next to the bbq pit near the soccer field.

Confirmación Orientación y Misa para Confirmación II La Orientación para candidatos y padres de familia de Confirmación II se llevará a cabo el Domingo, 28 de Septiembre a las 10:30 AM en el Salón Parroquial. Los candidatos y sus padres asistirán a la Misa de 12:00 PM y estarán sentados juntos como familia allí en las bancas reservadas para ellos. Es necesario que asistan tanto los candidatos como sus padres. Si los padres no pueden asistir, entonces pueden enviar a algún adulto en su reemplazo. Por favor, no llevar niños pequeños. Reciclaje de Ropa de Verano Con el regreso a la escuela y con el otoño que se acerca dejemos que los jóvenes de confirmación limpien sus armarios y donen la ropa que ya no utilizarán. Durante este mes de Septiembre estamos buscando donaciones de ropa ligeramente usada, bien sea ropa para hombres, mujeres y/o niños. Se aceptan prendas de vestir para cualquier estación del año. Por favor, dejar sus donaciones en los contenedores de reciclaje verdes que se encuentran al lado los puestos de asado (barbacoa) cerca de la cancha de fútbol.
