Trinity Sunday ~ June 15, 2014 Father’s Day Father’s Day: Happy Father’s Day to all Dads and Granddads in our parish! May God bless you with wisdom and strength! We remember in a special way all deceased fathers this weekend at the Masses. May God grant them a reward from all their good works. Prayer for Fathers St. Joseph, guardian of Jesus and chaste husband of Mary, you passed your life in loving fulfillment of duty. You supported the holy family of Nazareth with the work of your hands. Look kindly upon all fathers and protect those who trustingly come to you. You know their aspirations, their hardships, their hopes. They look to you because they know you will understand and protect them. You too knew trial, labor and weariness. But amid the worries of material life your soul was full of deep peace and sang out in true joy through intimacy with God's Son entrusted to you and with Mary, his tender Mother. Assure those you protect that they do not labor alone. Teach them to find Jesus near them and to watch over him faithfully as you have done. - Pope St. John XXIII Closing School Mass: On Tuesday, June 17, Fr. Jack Oliveira will celebrate the 9:00AM closing Mass for the school in our church. All are welcome to attend. CORI: As part of the ongoing protection of children in our parishes, the CORI renewals will be conducted for all Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Catechists, and Youth volunteers. The CORI forms will be mailed home. Tim Mitchell will contact each group over the summer when their CORI is due for renewal. Faith Formation Registration: All parish children (from grades K-9) should be registered in the program of Faith Formation. As noted on the front of the bulletin, the preparation for the Sacraments of Communion and Confirmation are extended programs. First Communion Prep begins in 1st grade and Confirmation prep begins in 7th grade. Registration will be held on Sundays June 1, 8 and 15 after the 10 and 11:30 Masses. Also, you may register in the Faith Formation Office at the Rectory on Mondays and Wednesday 9-12:30.

Fr. Pregana’s Anniversary: This June Fr. Pregana is celebrating 25 years of priesthood. On the weekend of June 22, he will celebrate the Masses and all are invited to lunch in the parish hall at 12:30PM. If you’re able to attend, please note your name so we can plan for the food. All the parish is invited to attend! Second Collection: This weekend the second collection is for Evangelization. Next weekend it is the national collection for the Church in Latin America. Thank you for your generosity. Spanish Teacher: The catholic schools in the deanery are seeking a Teach for Spanish. If you are interested, please talk to Fr. Pregana, or Sue Massoud at All Saints Catholic School. Graduating?: Congratulations to all those who graduate at this time of year from grammar school, high school, and college...and even kindergarten! We will offer a special Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 29 at 10AM and 11:30 AM for all graduates. Please call the Parish Office to note your name and information to be read at Mass. Catholic Charities Appeal: May God bless your generosity to this year’s Catholic Charities Appeal. To date the parish has received $12,897 in donations and pledges toward the Appeal. If you have not made your donation yet, please consider making a donation to support the charitable works of the Appeal. The Appeal closes in a couple of weeks. Your donation will make a difference! Instead of a one time gift, you may consider a pledge which would allow you make a payment over time. You may drop your CCA donation envelope in the collection basket at any Mass. Summer Camp: Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society is offering an opportunity to any needy youngsters of the parish ages 4-14 to attend Cathedral Camp in East Freetown. Fenway Park: The Boston Red Sox are hosting a “Catholic Night” at Fenway on Tuesday, July 29, and offering specially priced bleacher ($30) and right field box tickets ($55). The Sox will be playing Blue Jays. Parishes from the dioceses of New England are invited to participate in “Catholic Night.” For more information, there are flyers at the doors of the church. Pieta Ministry: St. Anthony Shrine & Ministry Center in Boston is offering spiritual comfort to grieving parents. There are monthly gatherings and retreats. Global Rosary Relay for Priests: Celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart with Catholics in praying the Rosary for our priests on Friday June 27. Holy Cross Family Ministries will join with people gathered at more than 60 shrines around the world to pray the Rosary to support our priests. Let us come together and pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary and unite with others as we encircle the world in prayer. Santísima Trinidad ~ 15 junio 2014 Día del Padre Día del Padre: Felicidades a todos los padres y abuelos en nuestra familia de fe. Que Dios los bendiga con sabiduría y amor para guiar su familia. Estamos recordando en una manera especial a los padres fallecidos. Que ellos descansen en la paz de Cristo. Oración por los Padres Bendice a los padres, Señor, a los que se esfuerzan por entregarlo todo por amor. A los que te imitan en tu compasión y misericordia, a los que siempre con los brazos abiertos están dispuestos a perdonar y dar aliento. Bendice a los padres que buscan de Ti, a los que necesitan fuerzas para mantener su fidelidad, a los que aspiran a una nueva oportunidad en la vida, a los que luchan por mantener su integridad y buscan en Ti el ejemplo de verdadero Padre. Bendice a nuestros padres enfermos y difuntos, a los que llenan nuestros corazones de recuerdos, a los que llenaron de esperanzas nuestros días, a los que siguen sonriendo en la enfermedad, para que reciban de Ti el descanso o el consuelo. Bendice a los padres jóvenes que empiezan a soñar, a los que van descubriendo lo difícil que es ser papá, a los que abren sus corazones para aprender y colaborar, a los que en su masculinidad descubren la ternura, y se comprometen a ser padres como Tú eres Padre. Segunda Colecta: Este fin de semana la segunda colecta es para la Evangelización. El próximo fin es la colecta nacional para America Latina. Gracias por su generosidad.. Cónsul de Ecuador: Hemos recibido el informe que el Cónsul de Ecuador va a estar en la parroquia de St. Mary en Fall River el sábado 21 de junio desde 10AM hasta el mediodía. Si tiene asuntos con el Cónsul, puede irse a Fall River en vez de Boston este día. Va a estar en la escuela al otro lado del Templo. Misa de Clausura del Año Escolar: El martes 17 de junio habrá la Misa de clausura a las 9:00 AM en el Templo. El Padre Jack Oliveira de la Parroquia de Mt. Carmel va a presidir la Misa. Todos están invitados. CORI: Haciendo nuestra parte en la protección de los niños de la parroquia, vamos a renovar los CORI de todos Lectores, Ministros de la Eucaristía, Catequistas, y Lideres de los jóvenes. Campamento para niños: La Sociedad de San Vicente ofrece una oportunidad para unos niños (4-14 anos) participan en Cathedral Camp. Misa Especial de Graduados: El domingo 29 de junio a las 10 y a las 11:30 la parroquia va a reconocer los recién graduados de escuela, colegio y universidad...hasta los niños graduándose de Kinder. Llamen a la parroquia para anotarse para la Misa. Ingles: Aprenda ingles ~ Clases inician para los que quieren hablar ingles.
